About Us
Preferred Plumbing,
Heating, and Air Conditioning is built on the experience and
realizations of past organizations and relationships that
taught the rights and wrongs with “both sides of the fence”.
It is our commitment that this platform is never swayed. At
the end of the day, we here at Preferred Plumbing, Heating,
and Air Conditioning will make sure we exceed each
customer’s expectations on every project. It is our hope
that the quality and experience that each customer will
receive will give our clients the reason to speak highly of
our organization.
Preferred Plumbing
was accredited in 1984 by the California State Contractors’
Board under license #457554, and is reviewed annually for
proper credentials, insurance, and bonding. The Company was
conceived in its present form in 1991 and ran its first
service call in February, 1992. It was started as a two
employee, one truck operation being operated out of the
owner’s living room. It surely did start as a grass roots,
bottom up organization.
The Company grew
quickly because of its strict service philosophy, built on
the initial sweat equity and tenacity of its first
employees; whom I am proud to say are still with us. The
employee turnover is minimal, reflecting the basic concept
of employment – the “other side of the fence” philosophy
balanced with good business practices are always in the
forefront.
In 1995, Preferred
Plumbing incorporated as Preferred Air Conditioning dba
Preferred Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning. The small
company atmosphere is attempted to be maintained both inside
the office as well as out in the field. This is a difficult
concept to retain with proper growth continuing as certain
legal and business aspects become required to force the
management style to change. It is the positive, individual
personalities that strive to maintain its original concepts.
In 1998, air
conditioning and heating services were added to our
portfolio. There was that natural progression to extend into
these areas to give complete environmental home comfort
service to our clients. In 2006, Preferred Plumbing,
Heating, and Air Conditioning became the Coachella Valley’s
Home Depot approved service provider for heating and air
conditioning installations.
As our Company
continues its expansion necessitated by the Valley’s natural
growth patterns, the proper controls will be in place to
keep the original service philosophies maintained and stay
true to our Mission Statement.
